I am a lawyer by profession and vocation with a fully international outlook and with a long career and experience in different corporate operations, having worked in multiple jurisdictions, among many others of course in Spain and most of the countries of the European Union such as Italy, France, Portugal, Germany or Austria; I have also worked with the United States, Canada, Morocco or the Philippines and in particular, in recent years, I have dedicated myself to all of Latin America, from Chile to Mexico, where I have served as legal director for the region, holding the position as Secretary General of Telefónica in Peru until 2018. Previously, I had worked as International Legal Director for Mapfre, and as an associate lawyer in the Barcelona office of Baker McKenzie, within the area of European Law and Competition Law.
Throughout my career I have coordinated many transnational projects and legal teams, participated in M&A transactions, competition law, commercial and corporate law, national and international contract law, insurance law, telecommunications, compliance and corporate reputation, as well as having been responsible for the secretariat of the Board of Directors and the Shareholders' Meeting in several companies, where I have also been secretary of their delegated committees.
I have also been a lecturer and speaker at a large number of courses, seminars and congresses.
Among my hobbies, as well as languages, I consider myself a great reader. I have never stopped writing or travelling, and I would like to say that I am a good connoisseur of the art world, trying not to miss an interesting exhibition wherever I am.
