The choice of the lighthouse for our logo has a very personal and well thought-out story behind it. When we were defining TLT’s identity, we wanted a symbol that truly represented our mission and values. We considered many ideas, but none of them convinced us. We felt that we were missing something that would differentiate us, something that really spoke about who we are and how we work.
It was then that I remembered a trip I took years ago to a rough-looking, but at the same time inspiring, coast. There, amidst the fog and visibility limited by the enveloping sea mist, a lighthouse stood as a symbol of hope and guidance. I realized that this was exactly what we wanted to convey with TLT: to be a beacon for our customers,a light to guide them in times of uncertainty and show them the way to comprehensive, clear, innovative and secure business solutions.
I shared this idea with the team at the time and, happily, they accepted. That day we became lighthouse keepers and our favorite hashtag became. #wearelighthousekeepers.
The lighthouse represents not only guidance and safety, but also strength, constancy, resilience and the ability and determination to overcome obstacles. These values are fundamental in the world of law and in the accompaniment of businesses that aspire to grow in a secure, solid and continuous manner. In addition, the lighthouse has a connotation of closeness and warmth, as it is always there to help those in need, no matter the circumstances, no matter how inclement the environment.
This is how we chose the lighthouse as the symbol of TLT. It is a lighthouse that is not at sea, but still illuminates the path of our clients, giving them the confidence and support they need to achieve their goals. And although it may not have a literal connection with the sea, for us it represents the light that guides our clients on their way to legal security, the evolution of their business, the hope of a better future thanks to the warmth of a team that is always at their side, always from an innovative approach.
So, it’s true, our business is not maritime although it may seem so, but our lighthouse is a very powerful symbol for the team of professionals that make up The Lighthouse Team. It represents our mission, our values and our commitment to our customers. It is a metaphor and a reality at the same time.
