The “Spanish Strategy for Science, Technology and Innovation 2021-2027“, approved last week by the Council of Ministers, is conceived as the multi-year reference framework that will enable the achievement of a set of objectives shared by the State and the Autonomous Regions in the field of R&D&I.
As lighthouse keepers, we are constantly alert and attentive to all new developments that arise in terms of aid for technology, innovation and development, which favor the achievement of the #strategy and R+D+i plans of the different actors involved in these activities.

The Spanish Government has drawn up an action plan with measures for the reconstruction and strengthening of our country’s innovation and science system, which is in such need of support at this time and as necessary as it is for the growth and strength of the national economy.
From The Lighthouse Team, we illuminate the path of our clients for the successful achievement of their objectives in these areas of activity, maximizing the opportunities of their business with the help of our team.
The main objectives of this Strategy are the following:
. Addressing the priorities of our environment. Contribute to EU policy preferences also by prioritizing and responding to the challenges of national strategic sectors.
. To promote R&D&I and its transfer, generating knowledge and scientific leadership in Spain.
. To develop, attract and retain talent, enhancing the capacity of the Spanish business fabric.
. Catalyze innovation and business leadership, favoring knowledge transfer and developing bidirectional links between science and business. In addition, to promote research and innovation in Spanish companies.
The EECTI financing objective is to double public and private resources to reach 2.12% of GDP investment in these areas by 2027.
The Spanish Science, Technology and Innovation Strategy will be developed throughout these years by means of calls for proposals, favoring incentives for private investment through direct aid and the establishment of credit lines to facilitate the use of European funds.
The strategic sectors that will benefit from the Spanish Science, Technology and Innovation Strategy range from Health, Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Society to the Digital World, Climate and Sustainability, Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources and Environment.
